Yesterday the seven (7) Southern California UFCW Locals voted to authorize a strike of Albertsons.

 As you know, we are currently working under an extension through April 9th and will continue on a day to day basis with a seven-two (72) hour notice required to terminate negotiations.

 We’re continuing with meetings under the auspices of Federal Mediator Scot L. Beckenbaugh and the media black-out continues.

 Please be assured that we at UFCW Local 1167 will do everything within our power to negotiate a fair and equitable agreement for our members.
