Southern California grocery negotiations resumed on Monday, 7/9/07. Negotiations have gone late every evening. At the present time both parties remain at the bargaining table. UFCW Local 1167 is committed to bring back the best possible contract. All 7Southern California locals have informed the mediator that we are committed to stay at the bargaining table as long as the parties continue to make progress. We are doing everything possible to avoid a strike: However, As a precaution, Strike preparations are being made.
