On Wednesday, January 17, 2007, UFCW Locals 135, 324, 1036, 1167, 1428 and 1442 held contract ratification meetings in their respective jurisdictions for Stater Bros. Market employees to vote on their new contract.

After all the votes were counted, the new agreement passed.
