The filmmaker Robert Greenwald, who produced the documentary "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price," recently announced a new documentary on the grocery store industry.
Greenwald's interest is a huge boost to our contract negotiations. His film changed the way consumers viewed Wal-Mart and how they treat their employees. Now he's turning his camera on how Ralphs, Vons and Albertsons treat their employees.
He is asking for our help organizing interviews with grocery workers who can share their story about the strike and their current struggles to make ends meet. He's interested in stories that each of you live every day -- trying to make a living on low wages that haven't been increased for five years, and the lack of access to health care for you and your families.
If you would like to share your story, we invite you to visit Greenwald's movie website, www.SupermarketSwindle.com, where you can contact the filmmakers directly.
