MINNEAPOLIS (November 6, 2006) - Supervalu said Friday that it would move around 400 marketing and merchandising jobs from Boise, Idaho, to its corporate headquarters here over the next six to 18 months as it detailed plans for the former Albertsons headquarters. Supervalu said it would retain some finance, information technology and human resources jobs in Boise, as well as its Intermountain West division home office and a distribution center. Supervalu also said it would establish an office in Bangalore, India, which would perform IT-related work Supervalu currently outsourced to third-party firms.
